Aetna Update - - We're In!

Update: 6/1/03. After months of negotiations, it's finally done: We have an Aetna contract again. The contract is in effect as of today. To those of you who have been following this, and have seen the "go-live" date pushed back several times, thanks for your patience. If you have Aetna and would like to join or return to our practice, please call us.

Blue Cross Update - - We're Out!

So what, you might be asking, is this recent job action all about. In a word (or 3): Liability Insurance Reform. New Jersey physicians, especially those in OB/GYN and the surgical specialties, are being hammered by malpractice insurance premium increases of 50 to 150% per year and more. This is largely driven by the increasing size and number of jury awards. Physicians closed their offices and gathered around the state and in Trenton to bring this issue to the attention of the legislature.
