Kristyn Phelps, MD     Kristyn Phelps, MD

A native of Virginia, Dr. Phelps attended Rutgers University as the James Dickson Carr Scholar and part of the Honors Program. She obtained her MD from Temple University Medical School, during which she did a year of GI research and where she was a Johnson & Johnson/Yale University Physician Scholar. This was followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University & then Morristown Memorial Hospitals. She took first place at the Internal Medicine Resident Research Day in 2008. She worked as a Hospitalist for a year at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, and since has worked in Trenton & Lakewood to repay her National Health Services Corp scholarship. She joined Hightstown Medical Associates in 2014 and is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Danielle received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Scranton, followed by her master's degree in critical care nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Over the next 25 years, she worked as a critical care nurse at numerous major hospitals including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Capital Heath System in Trenton, and Princeton Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, Danielle has extensive experience in cardiology, neurology, emergency medicine, organ transplantation, wound care, surgical trauma and post-anesthesia care. She received her master's degree in Advance Practice Nursing from Seton Hall University, and was a Nurse Practitioner at Capital Health System in Hopewell before joining Penn Medicine/Princeton Health. She has been with HMA since May, 2018, but has worked in other locations within the Health System for several years.. For more about Danielle and the role of Nurse Practitioners, click here.

Julius S. Richter, MD, FACP

A founding member of Hightstown Medical Associates, Dr. Richter retired in 2013. He graduated from Kenyon College and Jefferson Medical College. He completed an internship and military service in the US Navy, a residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital, and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Temple University. He entered private practice in this area in 1968. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine and is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Robin attended Franklin & Marshall College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following this he did an internship and residency at Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and the University of Pittsburgh-Presbyterian Hospital. Next, he completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at the Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He joined Hightstown Medical Associates in 1972. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine. He retired in 2017

Hank Lubin, MD

Dr. Lubin attended Princeton University, graduating with an AB degree in Biology and a certificate from the Program in Science in Human Affairs. His Senior Thesis topic was Computerized Medical Diagnosis. He then attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Affiliated Hospitals (Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, and The Medical Center at Princeton). He joined Hightstown Medical Associates in 1986. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is board certified in Internal Medicine.
